Myofascial release is a technique in which gentle pressure is applied to the myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore a patients range of motion.
Myofascial restrictions can result from trauma, inflammation or even surgical procedures. The pain associated with them are a result of pressures on sensitive structures that do not show up on standard imaging tests
The use of this technique is customized to each patients needs. The application of this therapy is done directly on the skin. We do not use oils, creams, or machines. For this reason we are are able to accurately identify fascial restrictions and release the pressure cause by them.
W. Scott Anderson is an expert in Myofascial Release. Fascial tension is a different story for everyone that can cause pain in different areas of the body. The work is progressive, pain-free and results oriented.
